When it comes to creative work, I’ve always thought I was more geared to results than process. But now I’m not so sure.Last night as I was finishing off my project for our club meeting tomorrow, I realized that it’s the act of puttering with the bits and pieces that brings me pleasure, not the final product. Once something’s done: that’s it. I’m not one to hang around admiring what I’ve done because I’m already thinking about what to do next.
And for some reason, I’ve never been concerned by whether or not people like what I do visually because I do it to satisfy myself. As Katherine Hepburn once said: If you always do
what interests you, at least one person is pleased.

But I enjoy your final product! I understand exactly what you mean though. When you are in the moment, creating, it's a zone that's so wonderful, you don't want to get out of it.
I agree that your final product is lovely! I understand what you are saying though. I find that I often accomplish the most difficult part of a piece and then lose interest before finishing the really simple parts. I think it was the challenge that provided the interest, not the fininshed product.
